These are likely the best quality of the known circulating copies of this early cable show. I rank their overall quality as "A", although there is a couple "A-" episodes and a couple at "A+". These are not as rare as the KTMA (season 0) episodes, but first generation copies of this season are still more scarce than what can be found for seasons 2 through 10. Therefore, they are not indicative of the exceptional quality of other season sets.

Pocket HUGE savings off the regular DVD price!

These episodes come to you on data DVDs, several episodes per disc, in the M4V format. This means they can be played by just about any portable device out there that supports the .M4V extension. If your device only supports MP4, no problem! MP4 and M4V are the exact same file codec (MPEG-4 AVC H.264), just with different letters at the end of their name. If you want MP4, it's as simple as renaming the file.

A partial list of devices upon which you can now watch MST3K:
Android, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, iTunes, AppleTV, XBMC Media Center, Windows Phone, Just about every video viewer on any computer anywhere on any planet.

The video quality is very close to the DVD versions, but because of the additional compression involved in making these files, they aren't really intended for viewing on large screens, such as that 150-inch behemoth you have in your den. We recommend our standard DVDs for home theater playback.

This Set Includes:

THE COMEDY CHANNEL: SEASON ONE 1989-1990
104 - WOMEN OF THE PREHISTORIC PLANET
106 - THE CRAWLING HAND

The full list of titles I cannot offer is here.

NOTE: This was the first season to air nationally (on The Comedy Channel), thus it is considered the first season.

The Mads have fled from Gizmonics Institute where they worked and talk to Joel from within a secret lair called Deep 13. It is in Gizmonic's sub-basement.

Beginning with episode 101 (until the middle of the 8th season), Gypsy is voiced by Jim Mallon. During the KTMA UHF season, Gypsy was voiced by Josh Weinstein.
