At the end of World War II, Nazi officials spirited the living head of Adolf Hitler out of Germany to a hiding place in the South American country of Mandoras, in order to revive the Third Reich at a later date. By the 1960s these men believed the time had come, so they kidnap a top scientist in order to force him to help keep Hitler alive. Several intelligence agencies find out about the plot and send agents to stop it.

This isn’t as bad as you might expect from the sensational title. Most of the acting is decent for a B movie. The plot, involving using poison gas to take over the world, is mediocre. The real failings are the technical/continuity lapses. The shots whiplash from day, to night, to day-for-night, and back again. The villains use the same car in South America as they did in L.A.-did they drive down in the time our heroes flew? Finally, Hitler’s goofy head doesn’t melt nearly as well as the Nazis in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
